On 28th May Gordon organised and ran a competition for powered gliders, or at least members who fly powered gliders!

Each competitor climbed as high as possible after a 20 second burst of power, times by Gordon!

The competitor had to stay in the air as long as possible and then land on the landing strip as close as possible to a marker in the centre of the strip. Failure to land anywhere on the landing strip resulted in disqualification!

For those who managed to land on the strip, 5 seconds was deducted from the flying time for each metre between the model and the marker.

Two competitions were held during the day.
