It's been some time, but I thought it was appropriate to say something about the competitions organised and run by Gordon and Paul.
It's very easy to become self satisfied and maybe a little bit complacent about flying at the field. It can become a bit of a habit! Sometimes one needs a bit of a push to do something new!
Well I for one am pleased that Gordon has provided that push with the competitions he has organised, and now Paul has got the bug and organised one of his own.
There is certainly a different feel to walking towards the take off area when you know that Gordon and a few others are watching carefully to see how you perform in one of these competitions. The stress adds a new dimension to flying at the field!
