ForumScott's Water Powered Plane
There's always a buzz of excitement up the flying field when Scott unloads his latest creation from the car. Last Sunday was no exception!
This time it was a water powered plane! Well, not exactly water powered but water was involved somewhere! The power was to be provided by compressed air which was to be pumped in to the plane by way of - a pump! Water was merely there to provide something for the air to expel. Well - that was the theory!
The following videos give a much clearer indication of what was supposed to happen than my written ramblings!
The first shows what can happen if the liquid is expelled prematurely! Something that most members have experienced at some stage I'm sure! The second is better, thanks to an able assistant with better pumping skills!
